Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of duties which may include troubleshooting hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC problems with molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
The Maintenance Supervisor shall also monitor machines, equipment, and filters to ensure that needed repairs are scheduled and completed by the Maintenance Technicians.
Essential Job Duties/Functions:
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC problems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Interact with all levels of personnel within and outside of the company.
Back up as a Maintenance Technicians.
Perform formal and on the job training regarding proper PM maintenance methods and procedures.
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
Review and inspect work of Maintenance personnel.
Establish work schedules for subordinates.
Assist in setting up Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
Keep detailed records of work performed and PM schedules.
Assure that Triad is in compliance with building and safety codes.
Requisition and maintain maintenance supplies and equipment in an orderly manner.
Maintain inventory of assigned tools and equipment.
Perform weekly building inspections.
Follow the organization's policies as well as any applicable laws while carrying out any of his or her supervisory duties.
Competencies:
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Ability to operate required machinery in the area.
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to maintain a positive work environment, coaching and team development.
Flexible and easily adaptable to changing needs.
